Our origin

In November of 2018, Jean-Jacques Grossi and Masoud Abbasi got together to open Délice French Bakery and Café. The mission was to create pastries and cakes that brought a taste of France to the Salt Lake Valley.

Chef Jean-Jacques Grossi started cooking and baking at a young age in the South of France, moving to the Greater Salt Lake area in 1977. He’s been in the food industry ever since, and with over 45 years of experience, the most delightful recipes are brought to life. With his personal touch and classic French recipes, we are proud to offer a variety of hand-crafted sweet bites to the Salt Lake City community. Our chef’s favorite treat? The Feuillantine cake.

Pastry chef Masoud Abbasi has over 12 years of experience as a baker and dessert artist. His personal mission is to bring people together and experience the joy of sharing and celebrating dessert. His favorite? The Tiramisu cake.
